Updated Policies

Reservations:

  • Credit cards will be required to hold reservation, and we recommend booking in advance due to limited capacity.

  • We encourage services to be fully paid in advance by calling the salon ahead of time.  Contactless payments are also accepted in the store.  To ensure a contactless checkout process, if you do not have this contactless payment function on your phone, please call the store to pay for your service and gratuity in advance.

 

  • As a further precaution, we will no longer accept cash as a payment method. 

 

Booking Updates:  

  • Guests must arrive 5 minutes before their appointment. 

 

  • Tipping: We will be accepting both credit/debit card and Venmo for gratuity.  We are currently not accepting cash tips.

 

  • Late Policy:  We are unable to accommodate guests who arrive more than 10 minutes late.  Late arrivals are subject to our cancellation policy

 

  • Cancellation Policy:  We will charge a $15 cancellation fee per service for clients who are no-shows or cancel under 12 hours before their scheduled appointment.

 

Social Distancing Precautions:

  • Social distancing practices will allow us to manage capacity in our space, as dictated by local and CDC guidelines.  We are adhering to restrictions of staff and customer capacity of no more than 50%, with 6 feet distancing where possible.  We have installed plexiglass shields on manicure stations for additional protective measures.

 

  • As a precaution, we will limit the number of guests to those receiving services.  Friends, children not receiving services, and pets are not allowed at this time.

 

  • We are not currently booking any parties of 3 or more people.  

 

2.

During Your Appointment

What to expect:

  • Guests should arrive 5 minutes before their appointments.  The reception and lounge areas are closed, and guests will be asked to wait outside if their stations are not yet fully cleaned and sanitized.

 

  • We not be using nail polish fan dryers or allow guests to dry their nails inside the salon. To help minimize capacity, guests are asked to leave the salon immediately after their service.

 

  • For all pedicure services, please bring your own flip flops or sandals as our drying areas are closed.  We will have disposable flip flops available for a small fee.

 

  • Guests should keep their personal belongings with them at all times.  Our staff will not touch or move personal belongings of our guests.

 

  • Non-essential contact items, including magazines and beverage service, will be temporarily suspended.

 

Customer health checks:

  • Before every appointment, we require verbal affirmation that customers have not experienced COVID-19 symptoms, have not recently tested positive for COVID-19, and have not been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

 

  • Guests are required to wear a mask at all times and wash their hands before their service. If you forget a mask, we will have disposable masks available for $1.

 

  • Guests will be asked to receive a non-contact infrared temperature check.  Individuals with temperatures above 100 degrees Fahreinheit or higher will be asked to reschedule.

 

Additional safety protocols and practices:

  • We maintain a strong commitment and vigilance to clean and safe service protocols. Our salon is Barbicide certified and Dermatologica certified for cleanliness protocol. 

 

  • Our salon is properly cleaned, sanitized, disinfected before the start, in-between every single client, and at the closing of each day using only hospital grade disinfectants

 

  • Hand sanitizers will be located near the front desk and at various stations available for customer use. 

 

  • Plexiglass shields on manicure stations have been installed for protective measures.

 

  • As always, all tools will be autoclaved at a medical grade standard (high temperature and high pressure) and all other service materials will be available for one time disposable use.

 

  • Disposable pedicure liners for all pedicure services to ensure safety between guests.

 

  • We ask our guests to not touch our nail polishes, nail swatches and retail products in an effort to reduce contact. Please ask your nail technician or our front desk staff for assistance.  If you know your polish color ahead of time, please let us know and we will have it prepared for you.

 

  • Non-contact temperature checks are performed on all team members on a daily basis.

 

  • We require our nail technicians to wear masks at all times and wash hands for at least 20 seconds before and after services, per CDC guidelines.  Team members use a new set of disposable gloves for each customer.  To help reduce PPE waste, we are partnering with a national recycling program that transforms these disposable gloves, along with disposable masks, into new products.

 

  • To maximize safety precautions, we strongly encourage guests to try our waterless manicure and waterless pedicure services.
